Outer Banks Pier Weddings

The Outer Banks offers many unique ways of exchanging your wedding vows. Many couples prefer their toes in the sand right by the ocean. But some couples go a further step and tie their knot literally standing over the waves! There are two piers that not only have an over the sea Ceremony spot, they also have beautiful venues for your reception. Both, although approximately 14 miles apart, are centrally located on the Outer Banks Beaches.

The northern pier has in house catering and bar service, and the more southern pier allows you to hire your own licensed and insured caterer and to bring in your own beer, wine and seltzers. Both rentals include dining tables and chairs.

The piers allow for beach ceremonies but couples need to hire their own vendor with arches and ceremony chairs. 11th Hour Weddings and Events can supply all your needed rental, linen, decor and vendors, with our custom designed packages.
