Outer Banks Wedding Package Options

There are 3 main types of Outer Banks Wedding Packages: Ceremony Only, Event Home Weddings and Venue Weddings. The most popular choice for the ceremony itself is of course the beach. But, there are other picturesque Outer Banks locations as well and many of these are sound front.

Ceremony Only Wedding Packages

These Outer Banks Weddings are usually held on a romantic, toes in the sand, beach location. We have our favorite strands of beach but we can travel to your Outer Banks choice. These Ceremony Only packages include your choice of Arch, Decor and Chairs, and can include an Officiant, Musician, Photographer, and a Bouquet and Boutonniere. This package is a low cost option and perfect for an Elopement or Small Outer Banks Wedding.

Event Home Wedding Packages

For those couples wanting an intimate setting for family and friends spending vacation time together and making lifetime memories, an Event Home is a fantastic choice. Every Outer Banks Event Home on the 11th Hour Weddings and Events website, are oceanfront and are a private mini resort. Ceremonies can be on the beach or on expansive decks over looking the ocean, and each has a stress free rain backup plan. Our variety of packages with rental, decor, vendors and floral, allow you a great starting place to custom design your own.

Venue Wedding Packages

If staying with family and friends isn’t your romantic vision, there are a variety of Outer Banks Venues. Many are oceanfront and sound front, and others are at lighthouses, on golf courses or are historic homes and buildings. We work with a wide range of these venues to provide you with an extensive choice. We provide planning and directing, decor and floral, and any vendor or service the venue doest not already provide. Many of these Outer Banks Venues require you hire a certified and insured Planner/Director, because they want your event to go smoothly at their location.

These packages are perfect for Elopements, Renewal of Vows or Micro Weddings. We can set up in front of your oceanfront rental on the beach or at one of our favorite Outer Banks Beach locations with parking.

This package includes dining tables and chairs for your poolside Event Home reception dinner. It is designed for the couple that is bringing their officiant from home, has selected their DJ and photographer, and the bride is purchasing her faux bouquets online. This is the basics that you need for an Event Home Wedding. Although we do all setup and take down of equipment and decorate for you so you aren't working your friends and family, this package does not include the much needed Planner/Director to make your day go smoothly and stress free. But if your mom wants to take on that role, this is for you.

Then we tie it all together with planning, directing, and decorating staff to make your day stress free and perfect.

When deciding between an Event Home and a Wedding Venue, consider the following factors:

  • Guest List: If you have a large guest list, a wedding venue may be more suitable. Most event homes may have limitations on the number of guests they can accommodate. But, there are a handful that can hold 100 to 200 people.
  • Budget: If the majority of your guests plan to make your wedding their week long vacation, Event homes can be a more cost-effective option, for small or larger weddings. The per night cost of an event home is less than a motel or hotel. And, a few event homes don’t require an entire week stay. However, you may need to factor in additional costs for services like catering and event setup.
  • Desired Experience: If you are looking for a personalized and intimate experience, an event home may be the ideal choice. If you prefer professional service and convenient amenities, a wedding venue may be a better fit. If an event home is your preference, consider hiring a local certified and insured Wedding Planner that specializes in event home weddings.
  • Location: If you choose a venue that is not a resort, consider the location in relation to your guests’ accommodations and the overall logistics of your wedding day. This is very important if you are serving alcohol at your reception. Consider hiring a local trolley or bus company to transport your wedding party and guests from their nightly stay to the ceremony and reception and back. If you choose an event home, most or all of your guests may already be staying onsite.
  • Style and Preferences: Think about the overall style and atmosphere you envision for your wedding. Does an event home or a venue better align with your preferences? If you came to the Outer Banks for the ocean, most event homes are oceanfront but only two Outer Banks venues are oceanfront.
